Killer Whale

In this image, I juxtaposed the shiny gold western frame with an intentionally old-looking wood burn of a Gitxsan killer whale to highlight the controversy of museums that seek to preserve and keep traditional archival findings stolen from indigenous cultures. I underline the discussion by cunningly using appropriation of western aesthetics.
