She has lived in several locations across BC, including Hazelton (the Gitxsan Territory), Merritt (the Nlaka’pamux and Syilx Territory), Williams Lake ( The Secwepemc and Tsilhqot’in Territory), And Kamloops (The Secwepemc Territory). In 2023, she graduated from Thompson Rivers University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts, in which she received a Drawing and Painting Certificate and a Certificate in Studio Arts. Her artistic practice centers around printmaking and painting, addressing indigenous social issues such as the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two Spirit, and more (MMIWG2S+). It also touches on the uncanny reality of sexual abuse in domestic spaces. She uses sculptural paint to juxtapose the viewing and feeling of the artwork’s texture and references books from her childhood. Meradith received The Ted Smith Visual Arts Award in Painting in 2021. Her artwork was shown at the Thompson Rivers University Gallery and, more recently, at The Kamloops Art Council.
